BASIC TRAINING SUBJECTS

Advanced Survival Training

Survival training can be one of the most confusing fields of  study. Let us take away the guesswork, and provide you with realistic, hands-on survival techniques. Disasters, whether natural or manmade, come and go each year. It is through developing a self-reliant mindset, having essential survival gear, and learning a handful of critical skills, that you and your family will be able to prevail in a crisis. Designed to prepare you and your family to survive any disaster, either natural or manmade. Hands-on instruction focuses on both short-term situations ranging from 24 to 72 hours as well as long-term survival resulting from a grid-down situation or pandemic.

First Aid / Combat First Aid

The purpose of this is to help members identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions in their environment, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aid care. It teaches skills that our members need to know in order to provide immediate care of a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical care arrives to take over.

Combat First Aid covers casualty approaches in combat and tactical environments, and effective treatment of common battlefield injuries, such as gun shot wounds and blast trauma. This includes hemorrhage control including tourniquets and wound packing, basic airway management and tactical rescue concepts among many other essential topics.

SAR Training provides the members with practical exercises in addition to a practice search mission where the members are required to have the proper equipment and stay out in the field during daylight and night time operations. The training content includes topics in three major areas: survival, support, search and rescue. And to provide knowledge concerning the general responsibilities, skills, abilities, and the equipment needed by persons who would be participating in a search or rescue mission.

Tactical Training

Tactics and techniques taught during our training are combined with realistic training scenarios to enhance our members tactical skill set. Members attending our training will develop the confidence and decisiveness they will need to make sound decisions in any tactical scenario. The main objectives of tactical training are to study combat theory, including regulations; to instill personnel with a high degree of psychological stability and with the ability to perform combat missions successfully in any situation; and to provide personnel with skills needed to apply the methods and procedures of waging battle and using weapons and combat equipment and to exploit the tactical features of the terrain.
